About Rx

Rx Bearings is a Canadian skateboarding companythat is entirely self-distributed, with all its workers being skateboarders. Founded by David Boots, a well-known skateboarder from Montreal, the brand has deep roots in the skateboarding community.

Rx Bearings emerged from Montreal’s skate scene, where Boots gained recognition for his involvement in Peace Park, the 2013 documentary Peace Park that helped legalize skateboarding there, and for leading the construction of the Montreal Plaza, inaugurated in June 2024.

To create Rx’s custom bearings, the company spent two years collaborating with bearing experts to ensure the highest quality and performance. The ultra-high machining tolerance levels achieved at the advanced factory where Rx bearings are produced have significantly shaped the brand’s identity and inspired the name Rx

Rx Bearings is now the fastest-growing bearing company in Canada, with skaters increasingly switching to Rx for its fast and reliable bearings. In just a few years, Rx products have reached over 80 locations across Canada and the brand supports over a hundred skaters.
