We all have to help reduce the risk of spreading viruses, so we decided to share how to make your own Hand Sanitizer!
All you need is 99.99% rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) or 190-proof grain alcohol and some Aloe Gel. Once you’ve made your sanitizer, you can even create your own branding, like we did, to help with the boredom of isolation during this difficult time.
Ingredients:
* 2/3 cup 99% rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) or 190-proof grain alcohol
* 1/3 cup pure aloe vera gel (preferably without additives)
* Optional: 8 to 10 drops essential oil, such as lavender, lemon, or peppermint.
Washing your hands with soap under warm running water for at least 20 seconds is more effective than hand sanitizer, but it is good to use an alcohol-based hand rub if soap and water are not available.
